AP govt sanctioned 70 model police stations: Chinna Rajappa

AP Deputy chief minister Nimmakayala ChinnaRajappa has said in view of maintaining law &law order in an effective manner government has sanctioned as many as 70 model police stations across the state. Speaking to media persons after inaugurating the two model police each cost Rs 1.40 crores  in Kadapa , and Rayachoti towns on Friday he said that the aim of the government is  people to spent peaceful life without facing hurdles in Law &Order aspect.


 He said after establishment of model police stations various crimes like cricket betting, thefts, atrocities against women, murders, Ganja, Red sander smuggling, cyber crimes etc were drastically come down comparatively with earlier. He said following adoption of latest technologies installed in the model police stations investigation  procedure become easier as police cracking down the cases immediately after occurring crimes.  He said that chief minister is keen in designing AP as most livable state entire country by adopting highly sophisticated technologies.


He said that red sander smuggling has been drastically come down in Kadapa district following special attention paid by chief minister by setting special task force to curb the crime. He said several notorious international and national smugglers were arrested for the last four years by Kadapa police.


 However the deputy chief minister admitted that there was scarcity of men in police department as government is ensuring steps to full fill the vacancies in different capacities. He said there was about scarcity of 15,000 men in different designations during the state bifurcation apart from government has completed 6,000 vacancies as 3,150 vacancies are going to be fulfilled very soon.


The deputy CM said there was crop loss in 1600 hectors in Kadapa in the current Rabi season as severe drought conditions witnessing in all 51 mandals in the district. He said government will helps the farmers after the issue brought to the notice of the chief minister. He said government has spent Rs 50,000 crores on irrigation works to uplift the living standards of farming community.


Saying that YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy has no moral right to continues even opposition leader as he least bothered about state development instead hatching conspiracy along with TRS and other parties to destabilize the government.
